My Story

Dr. Caarne White aka SharNAY By Grace finds her role in family and community first. However, the second you give her an opportunity to engraft scripture and encouragement into the lives of others, you encounter a unique experience with her as a counselor and minister.

As a graduate of Fisk University, Caarne holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, vocal performance, and uses the capturing gift of song to connect with the needs of those in her path. With her Master of Divinity from Howard University and Master of Science in School Counseling, she has more than 20 years combined experience as a youth pastor, chaplain, Christian writer, school counselor, and certified Christian counselor. Dr. White has a Doctor of Ministry in Next Generation Ministry from Liberty University, researching parents as the primary influence in the faith development of children.

Caarne, pronounced sharNAY, is a writer, preacher, teacher, counselor, and all-around lover of God. Above all, Caarne lives by her father’s mantra, “Nothing beats a fail but a try!”. Although this is true, she stands on the Gospel of Grace in Christ as her guiding post.

Her children, Journee, Angelina, Trinity and John III are the jewels of her crown. They allow her to share her life and ministry with the world through all the many streams God had laid before her.
